KC Jones
KC Jones are Karen Killeen-Jones (award winning songwriter) and her husband Colin Jones, both experienced singers and musicians. They come from Nuneaton in Warwickshire and perform mostly original songs, but also some traditional and contemporary covers, with instrumentation such as guitar, mandolin, accordion, melodica and whistle. Known for their catchy and thought provoking songs, fine vocals and close harmonies, and sense of humour, an entertaining set is always promised from this folk duo.
Their second album “Roots” featuring such guest musicians as Keith Donnolly and Lauren South, has received critical acclaim, as has Karen’s solo EP “A Woman’s Work”. This is what they say about KC Jones and their music:

Tu-kay & Ryan are a multi award winning Northamptonshire based acoustic duo, blurring the lines between folk, Americana and roots music. They have become known for their lush harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. Their songs encourage a positive outlook on life, even when things may be tough. They are optimists at heart and believe there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how small or distant it may seem.
